What is Deep Drawn Stamping?

Cold formed sheet metal blanks are held flat by rings to prevent wrinkles and drawn into a die cavity by a punch. The cup is redrawn to achieve the finished shape and size in a sequence of separate operations simultaneously. A variety of regular, and irregular shapes can be achieved through deep draw stamping such as, cans, covers, cups, caps , eyelets, housings, pans, cylinders, and hemispheres.
